The Avengers Superbowl spot arrives online

For those of you with little to no interest in pigskin-chucking, Marvel have helpfully released their Superbowl advert for The Avengers online. And brief as it is, there's still some new stuff in there to keep the fans excited. The new trailer is completely dialogue-free, but does show a few new snippets of action, including Thor standing atop the Chrysler Building and Black Widow looking slinky.Check out the new teaser, below... Meanwhile, Joss Whedon was recently part of an Avengers Twitter chat, and took the opportunity to put those Spider-Man rumours to bed once and for all. "There is no Spider-Man cameo," said Whedon. "But the Avengers do turn off the dark." Intriguing...Tom Hiddleston was also present, and he had a few words to say about how Loki has changed for The Avengers. "More mischievous. More evil. More hubristic. More delusional. More damaged. More badass," he explains. That's that cleared up then. The Avengers opens in the UK on 27 April 2012.
