ABC's Once Upon a Time turns fairy tales into reality "There's definitely this huge attraction when they first meet under very interesting and fun circumstances," adds Dallas, who hints that his Storybrooke character, the John Doe in a coma, may be involved with someone else. "Who he's entangled with, it may or may not be a true thing. It could be false memories," he says. Because the residents of Storybrooke are stricken with amnesia, Goodwin says, "There's no way for their relationship to be what it is in fairy tale land when he wakes up.
