When do you know it's time to change your guitar strings?

I need some good songs. Help?

I like modern music(rap, pop, hip-hop, etc.) and I want songs about
the following things:
-accidentally breaking someones heart and feeling really bad about it
-Falling for a player, who breaks your heart but still loving him
-pretending to be someone that you're not
-being sad
-not trusting anyone

Recording drums help please?

My friend and I are both musicians and are starting to want to record
some of our ideas. I am looking into buying a drum microphone kit so i
can record drums. I know I will need more than just the mics and I
will have around 7 Mics for my drums so i will have to have something
to plug all those mics into and record (Like a recording interface is
used for guitars and vocals) but I don't know what. have a GTDaudio
BM-9200 8 channel Powered Mixer we use to play through PAs and wasn't
sure if I could use this to record drums? It has inputs for
microphones and also has inputs with "rec" over them, but I wasn't
sure if there was a way I could use this or what do i have to get?

Finale of Season 4 of Dexter?

Just got done watching the season finale of dexter and honestly i
never expected something like that.

It seriously makes me so angry that they decided to kill off the
character in such a cruel way. I got so invested with the show that
when the death came, it hit me with a punch to the stomach.

Never been so sad over a show like this. Maybe during the series
finale of The Wonder Years but, this honestly is just on another
level. Cant describe how bad i feel for the character of Rita right
now. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

Do suspects on police reality shows ever properly exercise their rights?

I've been watching a lot of these Police Women of (whatever county)
reality show episodes. Every time a suspect is confronted by the
cops, they start lying, getting histrionic, feigning illness and all
sorts of rubbish. The cops always see through these acts and only get
annoyed.

Lawyers say that the only things you should say when confronted by a
cop are "Am I being detained?" "I don't consent to searches" "I'm
going to stay silent until I see a lawyer". I have never seen a
suspect on TV acting like this.

Can anyone recall any episode of any cop reality TV show where a
suspect properly exercises his rights and does not do anything
foolish? Please specify a season and episode number.

A Maine-based Celtic Group? (Wooing of Etain)?

When I was little, my Nana took me to a performance by a Maine theater
troupe that performed The Wooing Of Etain or something similar. I
remember part of the plot, and when I looked it up, I figured out that
it was that, because none of the other myths I read about contained a
woman turning into a fly.

I remember it was a small group, with several men and (I THINK) one
woman, though there might have been two. They dressed up in
Renaissance garb and they had a fiddle. The woman who sang had a
beautiful voice and I remember them selling CDs and cassette tapes
(yes, it was a LONG time ago. 1995 to 1997, I can't remember which.)
My Nana bought me the cassette, but I lost it a long time ago, and
besides, who plays cassette tapes nowadays?

Anyway, if anyone can help me, that would be GREATLY appreciated. I've
been looking for this group for quite some time.

i love to sing, play piano, and play guitar but im kind of in a rut. i

Watching movies etc online?

When watching movies and stuff online, except for Youtube, sometimes
they can randomly stop at any point, say 40 minutes. Then the computer
acts as if that's the end, and it won;t allow you to drag the little
thing at the bottom past 40 minutes no matter how long you let it
load, and it won't play beyond that point.

Why does that happen, and how can I fix it?

Singing audition tomorrow?

I'm 15 years old and recently just started uploading videos onto
youtube. I've never had vocal training, I teach myself piano guitar
and have only been playing a little while. I have an audition for the
school talent show tomorrow, but ive never sang infront of my friends
and im really nervous, also alot of singers have auditioned so its

R&P: Were the Jonas Brothers really that bad?

Looking back, we hated on the Jonas Brothers during their time. But
now, I suppose the newer versions of them are Big Time Rush and Justin

any vocal removers plz?

i want to start singing but i need a vocal remover if anyone can give
me an easy to use program that doesnt need to much processing or a
good soundcard (my laptop sucks) it would be great thanks!

Good scary movies to watch?

Learning a song on guitar?

Hey, so I've been teaching myself the acoustic guitar for around two
months now. I've been doing pretty good but I've not been practicing
enough at all! I know alot of chords, but I'm not fast real fast at
changing from one chord to another yet. Do you think instead of
learing a song this week that I should just practice alot on my chord
changes? Also is it essential for me to learn scales? If so which
ones?
And last question do you think that if I start next week and practice
learning a song everyyday for like 3/4 hours that I will be able to
play it properly within five weeks?

Me and my bud are starting an indie rock jam band... just for kicks.
I'm more of a soul-type singer, but I wrote this tune hopin it could
fit in the genre we're goin for.

I'm run-in oh-out of ideas for this song and I've barely even started.
